Anxiety is a general term for uncomfortable feeling of nervousness or worry about something that is happening or might happen in the future.Several symptoms in body can be taken as Anxiety symptoms but anxiety symptoms is not as like as fear, which is a response to a real or perceived immediate threat.

Anyone gets nervous or anxious from time to time—while speaking in front of public or it may be going through some difficulty. For many people, anxiety becomes so frequent, or so forceful, that it begins to take over their lives. Anxiety would come in many different forms—such as panic attacks, phobia and social anxiety.

Natural treatment for Anxiety :

There are some simple lifestyle changes which would act as catalyst to get rid of anxiety.

1. Herbal Supplements are very beneficial to reduce anxiety. Some of these are :

                  Kava

                  Passionflower

                   Valerian Root

Those three are believed to be very effective at reducing anxiety - more than any other type of supplement.

2. Try to Drink 2-3 cups of chamomile tea per day when feeling anxious : Chamomile tea contains  mainly two chemicals apigenin and luteolin and these helps us to promote relaxation.

3. Natural Sunlight for 20 minutes : Try to get outside in natural sunlight for 20 minutes and it is the best way to get increase Vitamin-D levels naturally.A short 20 minutes of walk/break will not only take our mind of stress, but also let us reap the benefits of outdoor activity. people who walked through a forest for 20 minutes had lower stress hormone levels after their walk than those who took a comparable walk in an urban area. If you're stuck in an urban area, look for parks or quiet tree-lined streets to take a stroll.

4. Examine our diet: Alcohol, Caffeine and added sugars have all been shown to increase anxiety. Deficiencies in magnesium, vitamin B12 and zinc have been linked to symptoms of anxiety. Vegetarians in particular should watch their B12 intake, as the vitamin is only found in animal products. Studies link an unhappy gut with an unhappy mind, so avoid eating difficult to digest foods like processed meals, foods high in saturated fats, and fried foods.

5. Eat healthy foods to help anxiety relief:

  • Peaches and Blueberries contain nutrients which relieve stress and also have a calming effect.
  • Whole grains, it is rich in magnesium and tryptophan, an amino acid that our body converts to serotonin which is known to calm and improve our relaxation.
  • Oats are high in fiber which helps to prevent blood sugar spikes that affect mood.
  • Avocados, eggs, milk, and meat are all packed with B vitamins that can help prevent anxiety.
  • Food which rich in vitamin C, like oranges, omega-3 fatty acids, and magnesium rich foods like spinach and other dark leafy greens.
